CUEX are now formally registering club alumni! You have alumni status if you are a former student member of the club, or participated in any Cambridge University certified expeditions. You are not required to provide proof.
MEMBER BENEFITS
CUEX Alumni receive all benefits available to our current student members which include:
Access to our online speaker events - 15% off at Expedition Foods Ltd - Discounted entry to selected RGS events
ALUMNI NEWSLETTER
Receive biannual news bites from the CUEX student committee!
SUPPORT STUDENTS
CUEX Alumni can consent to two-way communications by flagging themselves as an 'Active Contact'. This allows prospective expedition groups to network with CUEX alumni, mediated by the student committee.
SHARE KNOWLEDGE
CUEX Alumni who have a specialist occupation, skillset or knowledge, and are happy to share this with the club, can flag themselves as a 'CUEX Scholar'. The committee are interested to work with these alumni to organise short talks or workshops for the club.

Alumni can support CUEX further by donation.
Donations are administered by the University's Development and Alumni Relations Office.
CUEX operates on low reserves. Donated funds may be put towards:
Maintaining or replacing club-owned equipment to loan
Covering the professional costs of specialist guest speakers
Digitalisation of the club's historical archives
Once the registered CUEX Alumni community is large enough, the club may be able to set up a trust fund dedicated to alumni donations towards the support of disadvantaged individuals.
